Bob Harper reports the attendence was close to 70 for the reunion. The trips to the Vintage Flying Museum were great. The day trip allowed wives and the rest of us to climb through 'Chuckie". The wives really appreciated seeing where their spouses worked on the plane. Then, Saturday night an old-fashioned big Band played under 'Chuckie's" nose. There were about 150 people at the dinner dance, many of them dressed in clothes of the '40s--uniforms of army, navy, WACs and WAAFs, nurses, Rosie the Riveter, and other civilian types. We were introduced; had our pictures taken in front of 'Chuckie' and a military guard stood in the rain to give us a salute as we left.

The Alan Glasscock Orchestra played big band music from the 40s while members of a re-enactor group, "Kilroy's Boys", mingled with the guests.

"Chuckie" is painted in 832nd BS/486th BG colors.
