Mr. David Plummer and Les Hull met at Boeing in late 1951, when they both worked in the template shop. Les was recalled to active duty in 1952. He visited David's family at Castle AFB in late 1956, or perhaps in 1957, when David was flying with the 328th Bomb Squadron. Les was a close friend of David's family.
Les died in a plane crash on 4 Oct 1996 while flying a Thunder Gull aircraft around the country taking photos of State Capitols.
