LT Vanderhoef was flying "Lady V" on mission 183 when it was badly damaged. LT Vanderhoef and crew were forced down and made an emergency landing at Venlo Field, the Netherlands. The crew was repatriated shortly thereafter and continued flying for the 832nd. LT Poland was the original copilot for this crew. Status unknown. R. Demboski may have been a fill-in, but was not part of the original crew. |
