Halifax III LL600 Z5-C This aircraft took off from its base at 1858 hours, which was the start of the operational mission to Neuss. It carried out a successful attack from 17,500 feet at 2229 hours 23 Sept 44, but ran short of fuel while returning to its home base. The pilot, P/O D. J.
