| The Bereman family gave their father, Ronald Bereman, Sr., a military funeral when he passed away in January 2003. Sadly, taps was played from a tape, which broke during the ceremonies. During a recent family reunion, the Bereman family rendered honors to their family patriarch with the help of Chief Master Sergeant Thomas Kistler (standing in uniform) who is a member of Bugles Across America.
