| The name of this B24 (4N:880:S) is not known, but it was referred to as "the Ghost." The ground crew began painting a sharks mouth and eye on this aircraft, but were only able to complete the side shown. The other side didn't have any nose are. Consequently, as the group manuevered, this plane reportedly "disappeared" as the viewing angle changed, causing the unfinished nose art to be hiddened. |
