LT Towne and his crew flew #639 across the pond to Sudbury. However, since they were a lead crew, they flew various aircraft during their tour. The above picture was shot after Fred Towne's and John Rex's two lead crews were reformed into one, with Towne as pilot. Standing (L to R): Phil Shoemaker (extra navigator), Ersell P.
