SGT Horace H. White, 76th Station Complement. Originally trained as a flight engineer/gunner, a heart murmur grounded him. Horace was assigned as a crew chief for the 486th's utility aircraft, a UC-78 "Bobcat."
Horace enlisted at the age of 32.
