I wish to commend all members of this station for the splended showing they made for the inspection yesterday. The General and his inspection staff were well pleased with all they observed.

Although we were required to "lay on" several airplanes for a combat mission the night before the inspection, everything was in A-1 condition the next morning. It was through the untiring efforts of the enlisted personnel of this station that we could make such a splendid appearance and I thank each and every man for his devotion to duty, loyalty, and perseverance in putting over the show. The spirit you have shown is an example to everyone and the results of the inspection will be a guide to other stations. Please accept my hand in congratulations.
