| Bombs away over Aschaffenburg, January 3rd. The "smoking" bomb is a smoke marker dropped by the lead and deputy lead ship of the squadron. Other planes in the squadron would
drop as they arrived at the point where the marker was first dropped. The cylindrical bombs are incendiaries. The rest are 500lb GP bombs.
