This photo was taken from 942:3R:J flown by LT Dolan, and shows aircraft of the low element, low squadron, probably over England on their return flight. The shadows at upper left are foreshortened suggesting that the aircraft casting them are "peeling off" in preparation for landing at Station 174, which may be out of the field of view at the top of the photo. |
