This mission was a sightseeing mission (Victory Tour) for the ground support units at Station #174 following the cessation of hostilities. Germany surrendered the preceding day. The group assembled at 2,500', and flew the mission with a relative base Alt of 1,000'. The 94th, 447th, and 487th also flew this mission with the 486th.
