LT Joseph C. Grabow

LT Grabow was the navigator for the Eakin crew, 833rd. Joseph served the US Army Air Force then made the transition to the US Air Force Joe was mustered out of the service after the war, but re-enlisted in the USAF in 1948. He retired after a 24 year career, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel. Joe flew a total of 27 combat missions, 220 combat hours (B-17). Photos courtesy of Diane Lutz, daughter of Joseph.
