These included Captains Guthrie and Fuller and Lieutenants Abendroth, Sansoblois, and Pugh. The Group was given a stand down the next day which turned out to be pretty much of a holiday.
Part of the funds were spent for a souvenir booklet, prepared under the direction of Major J.W. Brooke, Group Surgeon. This related the progress of the Group in a light and humorous manner. While there were some who felt that it sacrificed accuracy to humor, it proved very entertaining and a good many men have sent their copies home.
