My uncle James D. Ellison was the bombardier on Snow White which was shot down over Cologne on Oct. 15 1944. All crewman except the co-pilot Norman Dahlstrom and the tail gunner Owen Crawford were killed. I have met and corresponded with Mr. Crawford. I am very interested in this period of history and the 486th in particular. I would enjoy hearing from anyone who knew my uncle James Ellison. You have a great website. Keep up the good work!

My Dad Virgil G. Marchant served with the 486th BG 832 SQDN at Sudbury Army Airbase AAF Station 174. He has enjoyed attending the reunions in the past years. I attended the reunion in Williamsburg VA with him and enjoyed it very much. It is sad that today's generation does not have the pride loyalty and patriotism to America that all you guys have.
